Sunday Mornings (as of 02.07.12)

Early Childhood

  • Nursery Helpers – 3 positions (9:00am), 1 position (10:30am)
  • Coordinators – 1 position for 3-year olds (9:00 am),  1 position for 4-year olds (9:00am), 1 position for 3-year olds  (10:30am), 1 position for 4-year olds (10:30am)
  • Teachers – 4-year olds, 1 position (9:00 am), 2-year olds, 2 positions (10:30am), 3-year olds, 2 positions (10:30 am), 4-year olds, 2 positions (10:30am)
  • Shepherds – 2 positions (9:00am), 2 positions (10:30am)
  • Greeters for KidZONE info desk (200 level) between services

Elementary

  • If you are interested in helping out in our Sunday morning elementary ministry, here are some volunteer openings for you to consider:
  1. Kindergarten 9am:  Adult support staff for 2 Sundays a month.  Responsibilities may include: teaching, leading crafts, leading worship, and greeting.
  2. 4th-5th Grade 9am:  A coordinator in needed to help organize and plan class activities.  Commitment is 3-4 Sundays per month but is rewarding.  Also, we have a need for another small group leader to lead activities and discussion, and a greeter for 2 Sundays per month.
  3. 6th Grade 10:30am:  Additional adult support staff is needed to help for 2 Sundays per month.

  • Our Disabilities Ministry is also in need of volunteer support in all three of the classrooms and in our buddy program.  Openings include:
  1. Teachers and Support Staff for both 9am and 10:30am for 2 Sundays per month.

Family Fusion (family service for 1st-5th graders and parents)

  • Hospitality: Greeters and Floor Leaders
  • Actors, Singers, and Dancers
  • Directors and Producers
  • Light Technicians
  • Video Camera Operator

Wednesday Nights

Boys Brigade

  • Dads, Teen-Age Brothers, Uncles, and Grandfathers are all invited to be spiritual mentors to boys in Grades 1-6.  We have leadership in each class, but we are still looking for additional staffing as classroom helpers and mentors.  Please volunteer to be a Christian mentor today by contacting Dave at dwalters@calvary-church.com.

Kids PowerXpress:

  • Great volunteering roles are available in our KPX ministry to girls!  So we’re calling out to all Moms, Teen-Age Sisters, Aunts, and Grandmothers.  If interested, check out how you can help!
